The Government Degree College Tyuni was established in 2021 in Tyuni, a tehsil in the district of Dehradun, Uttarakhand with the aim of providing better quality education to the students of Tyuni, Uttarakhand at affordable fees.
The main purpose and vision of establishing a degree college is to provide a platform and environment for students who want to pursue higher studies.
The college does not only focus on academics but has a very good record in other fields including sports and cultural activities.
The college is recognized under the Act 1955 and affiliated with H.N.B. Garhwal and Sri Dev Suman University Uttarakhand.

- Students must choose three subjects in BA First Year

- Geography cannot be combined with History
- Only students who studied Geography in Intermediate can opt for Geography
Bachelor of Science
Available Subjects:

Admission Requirements:
- Minimum 45% marks in Intermediate required for admission
Subject Selection Rules for Science:
- Students must choose subjects from one of these groups:
- Group 1: Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science
- Group 2: Zoology, Botany, Chemistry
- Practical subjects can only be chosen if studied at the Intermediate level
Bachelor of Commerce
Admission Requirements:
Admission to B.Com First Year will be given to candidates who have:
- Passed Intermediate or equivalent examination with Commerce subjects
OR - Passed Intermediate with other subjects but must clear a separate qualifying examination
Mandatory Requirements:
- Environmental Studies must be completed in the second year
